Alexander West

Alexander is a Barrister at Albion Chambers. As part of the Inquest Team, Alexander has appeared in Coroners’ Courts across the country representing a range of clients in Article 2 and non-Article 2 inquests, as well as presenting at Chambers’ annual inquest seminar, typically attended by 50-100 delegates, with previous speakers including the Chief Coroner HHJ Peter Thornton KC. Frequently instructed by local authorities in cases with a mental health element, Alexander is familiar with making submissions on issues such as scope, evidence, procedure, conclusions and Regulation 28 reports. His varied common law practice means he is familiar with many of the different routes into inquest law.
