PCP Claims & Mis-Selling - A Practical Guide

Introduction

This webinar will deal with how to process a PCP claim from start to finish following the publication of the FCA Report in 2020 on car finance which uncovered wide mis-selling in the motor claims industry.

This report revealed that car finance lenders heavily incentivised brokers and car dealers to charge higher interest rates in order to achieve maximum commission payments and through volume related bonus schemes.

It is estimated that there are 14.5m people who have been mis-sold car finance over the last ten years in this area.

The webinar will not only look at the key breaches of the FCA Rules in such cases but will also consider breaches of the wide-ranging consumer credit legislation together with an analysis of other causes of action and litigation tactics.
