Introduction
In recent years, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has largely focussed its enforcement action in two areas of consumer law: unfair terms and unfair commercial practices.
This virtual classroom seminar summarises the key obligations that traders need to comply with as well as recent enforcement action and suggests practical steps that traders need to take to reduce the likelihood of enforcement action.
Given the increasing likelihood that the CMA will be permitted to fine offending organisations up to 10% of the annual global turnover, now is the time to understand the issues and take action accordingly.
