Introduction

2022 was another very interesting year for case-law from the Court of Appeal and High Court. We are also getting recent Commencement Orders in relation to important pieces of legislation such as the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022. The Sentencing Act 2020 is now very much embedded, and we are getting the consideration of it in judgements handed down by the Court of Appeal.

This virtual classroom seminar will include all the recent interesting case-law dealing with issues that criminal practitioners are called upon to consider daily.
